I have been married to Kent Butters, my 9th grade “sweetheart” for over 26 years. We have three children together from previous marriages. My son is Travis Wagstaff, age 37, living in Layton and my daughter is Tracie Wagstaff, age 34, living in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kent’s daughter is Jaime Butters, age 31, living in South Ogden. We have our one and only grandson, from my daughter, living with us as his legal guardians. He is Dominic Wagstaff, age 16. He is a Junior at Layton High School. Boy, are we having FUN raising a teenager all over again!!! I retired from IRS over three years ago, with 35 years of service. Since December of 2002, I am working part-time for Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC), which is a large national and international Event Service company. I carry an “unarmed security officer” license in Utah and Arizona. (Ha! Ha! Ha!) Kent and I started with the company after we were both volunteer team leaders during the 2002 Winter Olympics, here in Salt Lake City. Kent and I traveled to Athens, Greece and Torino, Italy to work at the Olympics with CSC. We also travel to surrounding states to work at various events, i.e. Denver Broncos, Wyoming State University football in Laramie, Tempe, Arizona for the Fiesta Bowl, and Ketchum, Idaho for a two day event with the Dalai Lama. We work at events in the local area such as the Sundance Film Festival, concerts at Abravanel Hall, Kingsbury Hall, USANA Amphitheatre, and the Depot in Salt Lake City. I LOVE MY JOB!!! I also spend my “extra” time volunteering for an International Club Clela Bailey Salvo got me into. It’s called Altrusa International of Ogden. We raise money by doing service projects to provide funding for various Literacy programs. I also assist Kent with his reports and email, etc. on the computer. NOW, you have to read his biography to see what he’s doing… |

I have been married to Bobbie Albiston, my 9th grade “sweetheart” for over 26 years. (See Bobbie’s biography for our children's’ and grandson’s information.) I have worked in the automotive repair and sales business for over 33 years. At the beginning of this year I started as a District Sales Manager for a national marketing company called Genquest. I represent various automotive manufacturers that sell their products to CARQUEST stores. I am responsible for 31 CARQUEST stores. They range from Winnemucca, Nevada to the west, to Vernal, Utah to the east, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to the north and Moab, Utah to the south. I also have stores located along the Wasatch Front from Logan to Price. (See Bobbie’s biography for the work I do with her on a part-time basis, which includes the last three Olympics.) We have had season tickets to the Utah Jazz for over 20 years and LOVE it when they go to the playoffs. I spend a lot of my time “fixing up” the yard and the house and enjoy every minute of it. It never hurts to crack a smile. If you feel good about yourself, your face should match… |

Married to Dennis Phillips 38 years.{St. Joseph High Grad.} Moved to So. Calif. 1972 and been here ever since. We have two beautiful, successful daughters. Carrie is a UCLA graduate and Erin graduated from Hofstra University.{Long Island New York). They both live near us so we get a lot of time with our two granddaughters. I'm retired and Denny is still working his buns off. (As it should be). We have traveled to Europe, Mexico and are planning a cruise to the Panama Canal next year. We spend most of our free time golfing and playing with the grand-babies. Sorry I missed the party. Please keep me in the loop about upcoming events. |

We moved to Oregon, November 11, 1969. We have two wonderful children who are now on their own raising their own families. They have made us a military family. Both served in the US Army, our daughter served 8 years and our son retires with 21 years in March. He has been part of the 4th ID out of Fort Hood. Our son has given us 3 grandchildren 2 girls and 1 boy (born in Germany) and his oldest daughter has given us 1 great grandson, and another great grandchild (sex yet unknown) on the way. Her husband is stationed in Germany, also in the US Army. Our daughter is still in the military, US Army, now as a spouse, and a mom of a three year old daughter. Both of our sons have been to Iraq twice, with our son (in law ) there now. Between them they have served in Vietnam, Korea, Germany, Afghanistan, Horn of Africa, and Iraq. Also stationed in Missouri, Louisiana, Hawaii, Texas, Florida, and Colorado, New Jersey, Georgia, Arizona, Washington, Virginia. Sherman and I are both retired. We like to Travel to places that have to do with family history, and also visited our children's families. I got to experience the hurricane in 2004, while in Florida when our youngest grand daughter was born. The predictions were wrong and we ended up evacuating right into the path of Hurricane Frances. Not really interested in doing that again. Glad our daughter’s family is now stationed at Fort Carson CO. Basically, I have been in Utah anywhere from 2 months to 6 months every year but this year, knock on wood, to assist in caring for my parents for one reason or another for the last six or so years, who still live in the same home with the same phone number.
