I have 2 daughters, 1 son and 5 step-daughters, 28 grandchildren.  My children live nearby, Sam has a daughter in Roy, one in Des Moines, IA - one in Orlando, FL - one in Portland, OR - and one in Great Falls, MT.  So we have plenty of places to visit.  I retired June 30, 2006 after working for Weber County for 30 years - 11 years with the sheriff's office and 19 years with the county attorney's office as the victim assistance coordinator.  On July 1, 2006 we drove to Alaska and returned the end of September, it was a dream vacation.  My next dream vacation I would like to do now is a cruise from Florida through the Panama Canal and up the coast to Anchorage Alaska.  That would be great!  My hobbies are reading, needle point, spending time with my grandchildren.

Johnny Willis (the arrow points the way)   My wife Debi (on my right shoulder) and I met in Huntington Beach CA. in 1971.  We married a few months later and moved to Tucson Arizona.  There we had Eli, he’s the tallest next to me.  Jeffrey (far left) was made in Taiwan, where I finished my four years in the Air Force.  We moved to Ogden where I went to college and Alicia was born (fourth from the left).  After graduation we lived in California for a short while.  Coming back to Utah to work , we decided to settle in Syracuse.   There Megan (top row, fourth from right) and Lindsay (second from right) were born.  We have fifteen grandchildren, from ten to a few weeks old.

My wife and I enjoy a  variety of activities.  Our passion is sailing. We started sailing in 1989 and both become certified.  Each year we go to the Caribbean, with friends, and sail for a fabulous week.  We keep a boat at Willard Bay, when there’s water, and have two small racing boats for messing around.  We’ve enjoyed having horses, camping, swimming, and as much traveling as we can do.  But mostly we do a bunch  of baby sitting.  Each year we go to Bear Lake for a family vacation.  My children are all close in age and enjoy doing things together.

I currently work for Inwest Title Services, which is headquartered in West Haven ,

as their  controller.

I have really enjoyed my memories of high school over the years, and am excited

to renew acquaintances at the reunion. (I don’t use the word ‘old’, it’s all in the attitude).

Sheryl Willis Shafer
I married Doug Shafer shortly after graduation and had one child, Brian. I divorced five years later and remained single until 1992.  I then married Louis Rudnick, who died in April 2004. I have three grandsons; two live in Layton and one is away at College in Nebraska.

I retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in SLC, with thirty one years to my credit, in January 2005 and moved to St. George where my only brother and parents also live. I started working shortly after moving to St George, but decided that doing life alone and working full time was not living.  I just quit my full time job and am looking forward to getting back on my bicycle and enjoying the St George trails. I love to attend the theater and am blessed to be so close to the fine acting of the Shakespearean Festival and Tuacahn. I serve my Lord at the St George Community Church and am involved in the organizing of social events and being the church clerk.
I was afraid this reunion was not going to happen, so thank you to everyone carrying the load and see you soon!

Lori and I have loved traveling beginning with a two month back-packing honeymoon in 1978 having been dropped off in Tijuana, Mexico and ending up in Panama with interesting adventures among the people and in public land transportation.  Moving about the country with my work has encouraged our travel adventures as well as other trips to Israel, Egypt, Central Europe, England-Scotland, Canada and Mexico as a family and/or as a couple.
